I have used the stick and 2F and 3F. I’m in the I don’t like it camp. It went bang and too many years ago to remember accuracy, but if the humidity was over zero percent outside the barrel was flooded by shot 3. Wet, wet mess.

I tried it in my 45-70. It worked so so. Not bad but not great either. Best I did was 2" at 50 y. I don't remember trying it in my MLs though.

I can't speak from experience, but subs don't usually work well as a priming powder, or so I have heard. IF....it does ignite, there is usually a signicant delay.

I had a T/C Scout pistol that if I used 777 it would hang fire every shot. A discernible skipped beat and slight pause in the ignition, same amount, every single shot.

I've shot probably 50 pounds of T7 in percussion rifle ls and the only time I had issues was when I didn't use a quick alcohol wipe prior to shooting.

Clean clean clean for all powder makes is the key to no misfires.

That's the problem, I don't wipe after every shot. I want to get at least 5 and prefer 10 shots before needing the barrel swabbed.
