Tough question.. the .38/357 option is tough to not like, but big slow boolits get any job done with less fuss, and lots of daylight transfer.
.45 Colt over the 45 ACP due to the greater versatility.

I carry my G19 for work and travel; but, probably shoot more rounds out of my G23 as it is my IPSC gun and pratice with it for the game. A plus is that other than a bigger bore it the same gun. So shooting it is like practicing with my 19.

I mainly use 38spl in a s&w 686 for Issf centre fire matches but I loved my 45 1911 I parted with it when the gun laws toughend up in australia.

It's just hard not to choose a 45 acp. It is strong, and accurate, but does not take your hand off when shooting it.

Been really happy with the .45ACP. It's big enough that I can handle it with my two left thumbs.

10 mm is absolutely my favorite.

Many answered incorrectly. This was not about your favorite caliber but the one you shoot the most.

The responses do not mirror what I see at ranges and competitions.

You should visit my range. Lots if 10 mm being shot. Never a shortage of free 10 mm brass. I shoot more 10 mm now than any other.

.38 Special. I shoot it slightly more often than .45acp.

Free 10mm brass you say...where is it? Im on my way!

I was one of the few that voted for .40 S&W because thats what I shoot the most of. My favorite loads are a 180gr projectile moving +1000fps.

I would have voted 10mm but I shoot more 40 on a regular basis just because of the cost of 10mm brass. Alot of the 40 I shoot does get shot out of my Glock G20 though.

Same here. To get the same level of accuracy out of my 9mm pistols, I have to load it hotter. So my light .40 S&W target loads feel the same as my hotter, accurate 9mm loads.

So I shoot .40 S&W more. Love my 10mm G29, but shoot it the least, but carry it the most, ironically, since it is my woods gun.

It’s so subjective, and changes over time. I like them all. Right now I’d have to say .45 Colt, but that could change next month.

You'll need to head a little further east. The only reason I am able to shoot 10mm so much is because I load all of my own. We have plenty of shooters with the cash to shoot factory 10mm at my club, I'm not 1 of them.

Subjective is the right term. Many times you go through a stretch where one caliber is more favorable than another. But most of us fall into the category of liking them all.
