I just got a Lyman 33320 mold the guy wanted too much but It one of those things just have to have it. I said do you have any boolits you have cast. He said no that the gun would not shoot them and he melted them down. I asked if he had any gas checks. He said they dont make them anymore so that was why he was selling the "rare mold" I looked at mold and he had smoked it with something. looked like burnt tires. I said that couldnt cast very good boolits. He said it was ok but most had wrinkles "duh"
Got him down to $50 I worked about 2 hours getting the "tire smoke" off and honed the plate and top of mold.
This is what I got with Kroil and 12 trash ones
One on Left is the size I wanted on right is after the "beagglin" LOL
