I was touring the gun show in Des Moines last week-end looking for a Ruger
7 1/2 in stainless Blackhawk in 45 Long Colt. I saw a total of four priced from
$449.00 to $460.00 . I headed back to the table that had the least priced
firearm to take another look. Sitting beside the one I saw on my first pass was another NIB speced out just like I was looking for. Had a tag on it that said damaged front sight. Asked permision to handle it,witch was granted. Examined the front sight and could see nothing out of kilter. I brought it up to sight it and low and behold 1/2 of the rear sight blade was missing. $399.00
It followed me home. 10 minutes on the computer with an e-mail to Ruger customer service whom contacted me on Monday, and I have a free rear blade
coming Via USPO. Now to get it slugged to check boolit fit. Just had to crow
a little.Life is good and happy fouth to all. SWIAFB
