$4 @ pound and appox $5 for shipping ....unless my math is off that's less than alot of candleshop/hobby craft stores etc sell it for ( a pound) and the more ya buy the less the shipping is per pound ( still appx $5 for up to 3#) $17 delivered for 3 # = $5.75 @ pound that's a no brainer ... if all else fails tho try a add in ur local craigs list .....( the only guy who called me wanted $1 oz. for old brood wax ... i should of offered him what i got from randy for a lil profit !! )

I bought 10# from RandyRat not long ago and it's really nice at a great price.
Would buy from him again with no reservations.

My wife just went to the local public market. She picked me up a 1lb 5oz brick for $10. It's a little on the dark side but will last me a long time.

This is a place I get a lot of my bee keeping supplies from. I ONLY recommend it as an alternative if Randy is out, other than that I say buy from him.

    Good morning
First batch of beeswax I bought down here in Arequipa I got from the candle makers that sell to the Catholic people here. They have reject candles they sell for the price of the wax... but then they also were willing to sell some old wax a bit cheaper and I still have a chunk of that.

I can get uncleaned bees wax that looks like the picture below. I still have those pieces of wax in the photo. I have a friend that is a bee keeper; actually he's kin to my wife. It seems that he always has wax. I buy it from him at $1 per lb. That's about 20 lb in the pic.

One of these days I’ll get around to cleaning that wax and then I’ll buy more from my buddy.

Melt that wax down on a double boiler and pour it through a hand sieve with a single layer of paper towel in it and it will be the best looking and cleanest wax you will find.

My method, has always worked (so far), is to go to the nearest grocery store. Yes, grocery store, find the floor polish's. then look for a yellow can that says Johnsons on it. I have found it every time I went looking for it. No shipping, no waiting. Just pay and go.

I got some bees wax early this year from a bee farmer and it cost $3.50 lb it went up from last year of $3.00. The farmer told me that it is not only the CCD but also the mites starting again.
