This is a long obsolete mould (listed in Lyman #37) and the purrtiest cast bullet I ever saw but I can't make it sing. I think it is because it has a long Ogive and all of my .30 cals are Mill surp barrels with generous throats and long leads. I often wonder what it would do in a "Sporting Chamber" of tighter specs. I think it must tip a bit. Anyone treat long ogive bullets like the 311 413 or 311 329 different than typical bore riders? JB
