That's a good looking rifle and an overlooked underdog cartridge. Here's to 20 dead deer for your freezer.

Just love the 307 & 356 Winchesters. And very thoughtful offer.

Yes, that was a fine offer. Very nice looking rifles. Congratulations to both the donor and receiver.

I guess it was the 351SL that old folks called a "Blammer"...Apologies for Confusion!

One has to think, the 351 Self Loading was a serious consideration when design and development of the 350 Legend began.

I think both the 351wsl and the 307 are very close to 357 mag and 350 legend. I have a 32wsl and I’d venture to say 327 federal used it as a benchmark.

My 307 is very close to the 30 30AI in ballistics. It basically is a rimmed 308 but not to be loaded to 308 pressures.

That is an XTR M-94 with the reinforced action. The 307 is basicly a lower pressure 308 in a 94 Winchester 94 with a reinforced action. My Win M-94 XTR in 375 is built the exact same way. Traded into it, a nice lever gun, but it does not get shot much, as the top eject with iron sights is not something I care to shoot all that much with my old eyes. Not much on off set scopes or barrel mounted, scopes with long eye relief, either. Also I am well past receiver sights being effective, as I passed that mile marker about 20 years ago. So, the 375 just does not get shot much.
Probably should just let it go, plus all the brass, bullets, dies, mould, etc., as it is the only Win lever gun I own. A nice XTR model is bringing crazy money lately.
