    20ga and 00 buck

    Anybody ever load 00 buck in 20 ga? is it possible, any help or ideas would be great, thanks

    It’s possible. They will stack haphazardly because two pellets side by side is larger than the bore diameter of the 20 gauge.

    00 doesn't fit into 20 ga shells very well. 9 pellets of #1 or17 or 20 pellets of #3 depending on wad. its been a while I think the last ones I loaded I used sg20 wad or mg20 wads
    ballistic products has the load datas and everything else needed

    I load #4 for my son to use on snakes and varmints. IIRC, a standard shell takes 15 pellets.
