Opinions on this bullet for a 1911 and Lone Wolf Glock clone in 45 acp . Looks like a large meplat which I prefer.

I've used it some in 1911. It fed well with some magazines, and not in others. Oddly, a Wilson magazine was one that it wouldn't cycle 100% with, and did cycle with 1 GI mag and not another.
It was accurate, and did seem to hit hard. Probably due partly to the meplat and partly to the weight being closer to 238 grains.
My opinion is, it's a fine bullet for 45 Auto.
Thanks for the information. I’m looking for something with a large meplat that feeds well and this mold seems to do that. I appreciate your help.
It's a sweet bullet. I really like it for my 45acp.
All the TC designs by are pretty good bullets imo. (9, 40,45 anyways, I'm not if they make more?)
I've shot quite a few of these through a Glock 30. It has fed and functioned fine for me.
I've been running the Lee 252-200-RF and 252-255-RF in my Kimber and SA Ronin. They feed fine and seem to shoot as well as the RCBS 200 SWC. They have a big metplat and I've resprung my Kimber to handle 45 Super loads and use the 255 version for deer hunting. The deer definitely don't like that bullet at about 1000fps. I thought about trying the 230 TC but just haven't got there yet.
I’ve shot rim rock 250 gr rnfp with up to 6.6 gr of power pistol.1046 avg fps with es of 26 and sd of 8.3 in a Glock 21 with lone wolf threaded barrel and sidewinder suppressor . 22 lb spring.
I’m looking for something to shoot through my xd mod 2 and 1911 along with the Glock . A big meplat bullet but less weight than the 250’s .
It's my go-to boolit for my 1911 and my xds.
I believe I’ll give it a try. 2 or 6 mold ?

If you're going to shoot it much, I'd go with a six cav.
Definitely get the 6 cavity die any time it is an option. I think they are a better design than the 2 cavity molds and give me less problems. And you can really crank out a big pile of bullets fast.
For an extra $15 its a no brainer but you will need to buy a separate handle for your first one.
