I too had that kind of Grandpa. He was a farmer, active in church, and took time for his family, as well as a very few friends. That was enough for him. My parents were busy young people, my brother and I were always with Grandpa. Took me quite a few years to understand his patience and commitment he made to us. Oh, he had an old beat up pump .22 and 12 gauge, didn't get to shoot them much. The shotgun usually split the brass rim on target loads. Tears come, damn I miss him! hc18flyer
