If you drill a hole through the mass like I posted in #12 you could drill it larger and relieve pressure -then knock it out. The boolit-bullet-projectile could have been larger than recommended bore size which would swell more whacking it. Like a .357 in a .355 9mm. The larger you can drill it the less pressure to remove. That looks like a fun gun to shoot.
