I believe the way Don does. It sounds like a Bud Light moment by Winchester. Note to Winchester: don't sell us hand loaders short, we buy a LOT of cases, primers, powder and those jacketed thingies. You big shots at Winchester never went broke because of us. Way back when reloaders, target shooters and hunters were a respected bunch--instead of being vilified by the lefties--the big ammo companies sold components to us gleefully and the loaded ammo purchasers had their nitch as well. The deep pocket guys might do well to listen to us.
IT AINT what ya shoot--its how ya shoot it. NONE of us are as smart as ALL of us!

'They' won't 'listen' to us. They just sell us their leftovers.

I think the actual profit margins are alot higher on loaded ammo, which is why Remington and Winchester sell very little in the way of components and Federal doesn't sell any at all. Of course, if they did seriously get into it that would put a hurting on Hornady, Sierra, Nosler et al. I recently made a trade for 400 Remington .308 180 grain Core Lokt slugs and glad I did. Always found them to be really good.
    Currently casting and loading: .32 Auto, .380 Auto, .38 Special, 9X19, .357 Magnum, .257 Roberts, 6.5 Creedmoor, .30 WCF, .308 WCF, .45-70.
