2400 in 8 lb jugs from Powder Valley

PV has the 8 lb jugs of 2400. Free shipping but still have to pay the hazmat, of course.

Thanks $339.99 per 8 pounds works out to $42.50 per pound before the hazmat cost....

How much did 2400 go for before this latest shortage began? Just curious - I had only bought 2lb of powder total before all this.

I think that I paid $180 for an 8 pounder in Nov. 19

Most powders were readily available at $30-$35 per pounds before COVID.

I first heard of Powder Valley about 20 years ago in connection with 6# jugs of H108, a now near mythical surplus powder bottled by Hodgdon when they were able to find it cheap. I wonder whether we’ll ever see the phrase “cheap surplus powder” in a meaningful sentence in our lifetimes again.

Not likely since everyone is onto the surplus deals now. There is no free ride anymore. And the companies selling the stuff know it.
