Noe 22780 sp

So after looking at the Cast bullet competition results seems the NOE 22780 is the bullet you want for accuracy with a .223 in cast.

Well I tried looking for that mold but this is the only one I found. Is it basically the same mold ?

Wolfdog: Just an FYI: That's a bore rider design. I like bore riders, and have found them to be accurate. But..... If you shake-n-bake powder coat them the bore riding area ahead of the driving bands usually gets too fat for the cartridge to chamber. There are at least three remedies for this situation. 1. conventional lube & size. 2. powder coat and then nose size. 3. powder coat only the driving bands. (other ideas yet to be conjured which might also work) I powder coat just the driving bands, then swirl lube the bullets in 45-45-10. Especially with rifles, the smaller the cast bullet, the harder you have to work to get excellent accuracy. A void or imperfection that's minuscule in a larger cast bullet would be huge in a 22. I don't cast anything smaller than 6.5mm, so I only have general advise for anything smaller.

An afterthought: You shoot your loads using an AR platform. Check those cast bullet competition statistics and see what type of rifle they're using. This 70 grain bullet might give you a cartridge OAL that's too long for an AR magazine. Check on this before you decide to pull the trigger on this set of molds.
