    Crimping Bullets

I have been involved in a thread on another forum talking about crimping and after some prodding thought It might be nice idea to make a video on different style crimping.
    Taper Crimp
    Roll Crimp
    LEE FCD
then Reddings excellent, Profile Crimp which is really just an improved or modified Roll Crimp. Its what I now prefer.

There are different crimps for different reasons. Sometimes you don’t really need to crimp at all.

I'll watch the video. Nice. Anyone remember the CH Tool & Die taper crimpers available way back when? That's was my first exposure to crimping other than roll style. Of course you soon learn about uniform brass length when you are only equipped for roll crimpin'!

    Thank you

Yes, Greg you are 100% correct. This video is about different Crimping dies and set up. Not so much if its needed. That would be quite a hand full in and if itself.

Yes d4. C&H is still around and a quality source for many things reloading. I have a few of those dies. I just sent a 30 carbine taper crimper to a buddy in Indiana as a matter if fact!
