    Yeah I think youre right, thanks. I checked the dies from the yardsale (RCBS) and they cut easily with a file so Ill just proceed with my plan.

    Let us have a progress report. Be worthwhile knowing that an RCBS die can be machined. I've shortened one with a cutoff wheel, but never tried to machine one.

    will do, its gonna be a minute or two. I gotta quit messing with gun stuff and make some knives. the banks gonna want the mortgage paid pretty soon.
