    CB ballistic charts

Hey everyone, I知 pretty new to casting and I知 trying to develop a load for my 30-30. Do any of you have a reliable ballistic chart for cast bullets? I haven稚 been able to find one that gets specific for use. I知 just looking for velocity and PSI mainly at the bore. Thanks guys!

Yep thanks, I致e used both the Lyman and Lyman cast bullet manuals for that stuff. I知 looking for something that has wider weight spread and options such as PC, what lube you use, GC or not etc etc

there are tables in the back of some reloading books and you can get some online tables as well

then you can fine tune for minor differences in your data

ILMG, what you are looking for is a bit too specific. That data will have to be developed by you using your gun to find out. You may need to get a chronograph, as well. Ladder test, as usual.

Most load data has the peak pressure and muzzle velocity. Modern Reloader and Castbullet handbook would the best and have the most information.

What bullets do you have so we can help?

Throws me off when you call it ballistic chart. Thats what i call my bullet drop charts.

Lymans Cast Bullet Handbook #3 has detailed external ballistic tables for their bullets in the back. It is out of print but you can find a reproduction here https://www.cornellpubs.com/old-guns...p?item_id=4455 Edit: They have several old Lyman cast bullet manuals, other manuals and lots of other old gun books too

You won't find that. GRT is free quickload that does give approx of psi & fps. It does have a selection of cast bullets, I typically use Lee bullet data, comes close in 30/30. Most cast bullets the BC is .25-.33, estimated. As to GC, psi and alloy dependent.
    Whatever!
