Bulseye is my favorite pistole powder. I use it for 32 acp 38 special 9 mm 44 mag and 45 acp. Iam not after a fast load just accurate lower power loads shot at paper.

I've burned up quite a bit of Bullseye. Great powder.
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.
For some reason i ended up with 2-8# jugs of BE, will have to start using it now.
I love Bullseye and have found it to be very well behaved. The 3.5 grain charge for standard pressure .38 Special is the only charge I use for 148 - 160 grain loads and it works great. 4.0 with 124-125 jacketed in 9mm is good and an old sleeper of Outpost 75's that he mentioned in an article about testing Ruger 9mm pistols while working at Ruger is 3.6 with a 125 cast boolit. I've found that load saves lots of powder and runs my Glock pistols without issue using standard recoil springs. YMMV on that one, but give it a try!

Premium powder in the lowly .38 S&W 148 gr, HBWC 1.8 gr of B/E is wonderful in my Colt P.P.’s
Have used it in 38 SPCL when I had them, still use it in 45 ACP. Meters well and is very economical $$ wise. For mouse fart loads 5 grs in 06 and 4 grs in 30/40 and 243 gives plenty of accuracy and is subsonic. Must have 15 ponds on hand, my son will use up whats left when I'm gone.
Bullseye is a must have as far as I’m concerned. I don’t know of anything it doesn’t work in, and work well in.

Successful test. No leading. Gun cycled well. And accuracy was good.

1.4 gr under a round ball in a 300 Blackout. Smooth.

The very first gun I bought was a Colt Trooper MkIII in 38/357. And sprung for reloading kit. Many years would go by before I used anything other than Bullseye. Bullseye was listed as the “accuracy” load in the old manuals.
I stopped counting at 40,000 or so rounds thru that Trooper. Vast majority were 38s propelled by 2.8 grains of Bullseye.
Am down to only two or three pounds of Bullseye. Which makes me nervous.
I've burned through several 8# jugs, at 4.0-4.4 grains per load in both 9mm and 45ACP.
It ain't always the cleanest, but the groups make it very worthwhile.

I think I've used more Bullseye in rifle loads than I have in pistol , 30-30 , 308,30-06, 32 spl, 35 Rem . All with regular weight cast bullets mostly without the check all in the 5-6 gr range and all shoot rather well .
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
My favorites:
3 gr with cast in 9 mm for light target
2.7 with 38 wc
3.5 in 45 ACP cast 200
7 in 30-06 170 cast for 1050 fps fun load
Way back in the day, Bullseye was difficult to come by in my neck of the woods. As a result of that, I turned to WW231.
Fast forward to few years ago (well maybe 10 years ago ) and I started converting several of my standard loads to use Bullseye.
It meters well, you don't need much per cartridge and it performs well.
There are 7000 grains to a pound. At 3.5 grains per cartridge in 38 Special that works out to 2000 loaded rounds per pound of powder.
At 3.1 grains per cartridge (one of my loads for Wadcutters) that works out to 2258 rounds per pound.
From a economic viewpoint, Bullseye is hard to beat. In terms of conservation of suppliers, it is a winner.
2 grns in 310 cadet nice mild load my current rook and rifle load.
4.6 grns 178 pope bullet 30-30 more accurate than it ought to be.
3gns Lee soup can 30-30 accurate too at least 100yrds and quiet.
Started using bullseye for reduced loads haven’t needed to venture else where.
