I worked for the Census last year and one of my managers was an Air Force copter pilot from the '70/80s who was an avid shooter and teacher. He taught several women in the office to shoot during our time there last year. Was a really good guy. His girlfriend found him at his place last night, dead from apparent heart attack. Shame, was in mid 60's. Just feeling sad today for his girlfriend and his family. Goodly number of folks are way more proficient gun owners because of him. He's with his first wife whom he lost to cancer a decade ago.
RIP Joe.
