It's OK to be color blind when choosing and using tools. Being fixated on brands and colors limit your choices in life.

New press? Congrats. I've been eying the Grand for years, but shot prices haven't been anywhere close enough to justify cost/benefit. I'd love to know what you think about it once you get ir up and running.

A bit of surface rust and a few small parts and she will ready to adjust up. It is an awesome machine.....going to be fun to play with! Not real happy about powder bushings as a way to measure but...OK.

Bushings work well...do not sweat it. Bushings for Hornady, Ponsness Warren, and Spolar will work with the RCBS machine. You can also buy an adapter that allows the use of the cheap MEC bushings. There are mixed reviews on the Grand but I know one guy who loves his.

    Good luck with it!

I bought one used about 10 years ago in like new condition for a very good price. After you get it adjusted to the wads and casings/hulls you're using it is a joy to run. I am very pleased with it, never had a problem, and it makes very nice crimps.

I don't use it as much as I'd prefer because of the price of shot remaining so high.
