    Thinking of selling my 91 jm marlin whats it worth?

    Yea maybe wanting to sell my 1991 marlin JM 30-30 it in good condition. Has some some light pitting on the reciever none in barrell. Gunsmith put new springs and slicked it up no issue . What is this worth?

    Hard to write sight unseen... Have bought "good condition" Marlins for $250 and up...
    When needing a price I hunt around the on line sellers and find a couple about the same condition. Then see what people bid on them. That will give you a fairly good idea of real value.

    A good to very good condition would run about $300-375 at most. Yours with pitting might be a $200-250 gun. Hard to say.

    If you are a member of Gunbroker you can click on "advanced search" then completed items to get a feel for what a gun actually sells for. Not just the asking price.

    Condition and Location are key factors..91's have the CBS also, that's a turn off to some.
