Bore guide for Savage 99, 250-3000??

Dewey makes nice muzzle bore guides for lever guns in 22, 30, 25, and 45 calibre. None in 25 cal,. Any suggestions other than being careful and using my fingers as guide???

I think this has been addressed before....find a shotgun shell that slips over the muzzle, deprime and drill out that area so your rod will slide. If not find some pvc pipe with the correct diameter and an endca. Drill the end cap (same as the shotgun shell) and clean away.

Buy the .22 cal rod guide and then drill it out with the appropriate size drill bit.

You can also just use a 22 calibre rod of good quality with the 22 cal rod guide and a 25 calibre jag or brush on on it.
    Keep your powder dry,
