That appears to be a factory ingot. Probably is as pure as it gets. Quick before someone claims it, MAKE BOOLITS.

Found one like that in the road once... mmmm perhaps 30 years ago, but mine was only 33 lbs. It had a hole at one end... guessing it was a counterweight for a door on the back of a truck. My wife was driving me to work that day and I yelled pull over!

I don't know how I figured it was lead, but at that time I was collecting a few WW here and there from tire shop parking lots after they were closed. I was making fishing sinkers back then. If only I had known that the same shops would have loaded up my truck with free lead I'd have a lifetime stash now for making boolits.

I missed the good ole days.

That does look like a foundry bulk ingot, have seen those before. Dead soft plain lead if it is, nice score. Now you need to have a bucket or two of WW's fall out of a truck in front of you, with lids on would be nice.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

Yea... My guess is that its not pure. Do have it tested. You may have just hit strait pay. Doesn't look like just dirty ole lead.
