    need help.

S Marko Walker Colt. V shaped mainspring that broke. I have a new spring but how do you install it?
All I see are with a flat spring with a screw in the grip frame.

    .

With the wood grip & backstrap removed, but the gun otherwise assembled (hammer/etc), compress the spring & place the curved/slotted side of the MS against the grip's front strap, ensuring that the hooked portion of the other side of the leaf engages the hammer, then secure the curved MS leg to the front strap with the MS latch.
