    Boolit holsters

For the lack of a better name I made a couple of leather 'boolit holsters' for my 44's in their speed strips (TUFF quick strips). This will keep the boolits clean and free of lint and pocket dust bunnies and keep the boolits from bumping into all the hard things in the pocket. I keep my speed strips in my strong side pocket. I can easily slip off the leather cover (even with my teeth) and be ready to re-load.

Where do you even find speed strips anymore? I was looking for some for .38 Special a month or so ago and my google foo was not working.

    Any pointers will be appreciated.

Hey thanks for the links. I will get some on order.

I forgot about asking this question until this morning, I don't usually frequent this section of the forum.

Does anyone make speed strips for .22Mags? I would like to have a couple to carry with My NAA Pug.

Then maybe I can get Rusty to make me a couple of Bullet Holsters?

Cattleskinner: Thanks for the heads up, I bought them, however you did have to look a little deeper as Optics Planet wanted $7.95 + $9.95 shipping. I looked a little deeper and found another outfit that did $9.95 with free shipping. Also bought a Sticky Holster for the Pug with free shipping. Got to love the smaller outfits.

Now today I've got to cut the barrel off on my Mini Master and make it into a Pug. We can't buy Pugs in CA so the owner of NAA recommended I cut my barrel off. Should take a few minutes to do that and then another hour to cut a new front sight dovetail.

Once again thanks for the heads up, I had back burnered this project for months. Got me off my ****.
