I'm looking at buying a Howa heavy barrel 300 Win Mag in the near future and need to know how many federal cases are in a 1 lb, or how much 1 300 win Mag case weighs. a bit of topic but guys have been pretty helpful here.

Just weighed a multi fired, trimmed, W/W unprimed case, 270 g. = 25.9 to a pound.

weigh several cases. take the average. 7000gr/lb. divide 7000 by the average weight.
