    Cz527 fs

It seems they used to make the Manlicher stocked variant in .22 Hornet but no longer do. ANyone know when or why? I'd love to have one, but ot looks like finding one is going to be diffcult and pricey.

Anyone have one and was there a reason they dropped it like it didn't work well or something?

I'm not sure, but it is possible that it's still made but not exported outside of Europe.
CZ do seem to have and incredible range of models and variants.

This is the addy for "Hunting Stuff" in Salem ,Il. (phone # is on page) They had / maybe still have a Hornet....That stuff moves pretty fast. I can't remember if it was a Mannlicher or not. They open up Tuesday again...

I bought a 308 Mannlicher there but haven't had time to play with it...

Do a search for Zazstava mini mauser, a very good and more affordable cousin.

The zastav rifles I've seen were pretty rough. Both in appearance and craftsmanship. Not saying they are bad just not as refined as others. Now there was a used one that someone had put in some sweat equity in refinishing the stock and smoothing out the action.
It looked really nice and action was smooth.
