I pan lubed ~200 boolits today and remembered why I got a Lyman 450. Time to buy more sizer dies and top punches.
Loaded 100 rounds of 38 special with 145gr cast and 3.8 grains of Win 231. Also boxed about 500 rounds of 12 gauge.

Resized /De-Primed and belled the mouth of 400 45-70 cases, and primed about 1/2 of them. Tonight I get to finish priming and stuff then full.
Loaded a few 45LC with 13gr BD and the 200gr J Hornady Flex tip.
Make a fire out back to, 1. get rid of dead wood,,2 melt down some Pb I picked up earlier in the week. Since the fire was nice a hot I cooked a yard bird for supper.
Loaded several different sets of 38 special test loads to try out. Mostly lighter weight boolits designed for 9mm. Since I size my 9mm boolits to the same size I use for 38 special, it should not lead the barrel. I am just curious about how accurate they will be.
Loaded 100 9mm Lee 124gr RN tumble variety, powder coated, over 4.8gr of Unique.
loaded up 250 45-70's with some 500 gr Boolets on top of a mild dose of IMR 3031.
1. Cleaned out a new set of 9x18mm Makarov dies then sized, primed and expanded 50 new starline brass.
2. Cast a couple hundred Lee 365-95-R bullets for the P-64, checked diameter then tumbled lubed them.
3. Made up a dummy round to check in the P-64 chamber
4. Made a new bracket to hold a new PID temperature probe in the Lee pot.
Yesterday was organizing & putting 1k 62grAP on strippers then was putting away various stuff & had 3 take off barrels to put with my others from TOs etc. So I dug out the barrels I had oiled & wrapped in paper before storage. Well wouldn't you know it the dam Virginia humidity, even though in my basement which is not humid, had caused rust on several! A decent M1 TO for a rifle I made into a 308 match, 2 like new Kleinguenthers(which cannot be replaced since he's dead), an 06 & 7mmMag, a heavy brl .308 & a 25-06. The rest were stainless. Some light rust on the M1, 308 & 25-06 which cleaned up OK. But the Ks were really bad. Cleaned & removed rust from the lightly marred brls the started on the Ks. Some bad stuff. They will have to be refinished, sanded etc. Luckily, I use a heavy bore grease so all brls are OK. Today after shooting I'll get hot on the K brls with Naval Jelly or similar to take off rust & see how bad they are. It sucks cause brls are from guns I had made in 73 & 79 & were exc, except now, of course, for the rust.
I had actually wanted to check the K brls to see if one was a .308 since I wanted to put it back on one of my Ks that were duplicates. Only 308 was for a 700.
Since I don't have plans for either brl I'll just de-rust them, cosmoline the crp out of them & put them away for now.
Cast 530 148 gr lwc to be powder coated tomorrow and loaded for the mod 67.

I shot 50 124 gr rn (powder coated) out of my 686 yesterday, loaded in 357 brass, no leading and accuracy was as good as I can shoot. I think you'll be fine out of a 38, I loaded with HS-6 and magnum primers.

Cast a few 40cals for another member here. His were falling small. My second mold dropped consistently at 404. We may have a winner!!
Load 500, 223 and put on strippers.
a couple of days ago, the grandson and I made 130 45-70 "loads" for a friend who works movie productions. We had to load lead, with spent primer, and no powder. They also needed to be coated for corrosion resistance, so they did not turn green in the belts. check out his profile at http://www.kelequineproductions.com/
This is my loading partner

Cast another 550 148 gr LWCs to go along with the 530 cast yesterday (all cast with a single cavity mold). Let the powder coating begin.
Tried out my brand new Frankford Arsenal wet tumbler with a gallon of hot water, ss pins, a squirt of Dawn, and some Lemi-Shine. I now have several big plastic tubs full of shiny .303 British, .30-06, .30-30's and 6.5x55 Swedish. This thing is amazing! The '06 was a big batch of scuzzy brown military brass that I was tempted to scrap because they looked so bad, but now they look brand new again! I'll never go back to my vibrating tumblers with corn cob again ...
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!
First cast of the season!! Boy does it feel good! .452-225 for trying paper patch in 45-70, .429-200 44 mag, and a couple different .309 boolits for thursdaymike!

Tried out my new to me rcbs 2A press. Sized, deprimed and swaged the primer pockets on a few hundred 30-06 brass for the garand. Next will be pp cleaning, case length check and case chamfering.
I detest case prep! I plan on doing about 2k rounds of brass prep after work all week. I like to just get it over with all at once.
Life is so much better with dogs!
Sorting out totes and boxes. Found 6 rolls of wire solder 50-50 ,60-40 and a staybrite. Moved the redneck silver into 2 milk crates. Soft for my RB and hard for other boolits.
Sorted out close to 30 pounds of scrap yard boolits earlier in the week. 45's-30 cal some lubed and GC,30 cal 2 weights, 600 358's at 162gr and about 3lbs of .285's 143 gr not lubed or sized.
Anyone need the 285's I'll trade for some .224 for my .223 CZ?
I have to put up another shelf or load some ctgs.
