    Coyote are almost epidemic here in SC also. (Yep, SC!) Even armadillo too.

    Spoken from one who has shot at live critters with my BPCR and tang sight, that was an INCREDIBLE shot! When I look for a much larger target (deer) through mine at that distance, my old eyes get lost and can't find the critter. If someone would paint a 10" white circle over the lung area I would be OK, but that's asking a little much. This is why I am presently mounting one of MVA's Winchester "B5" scopes on my 45/70 along with their No. 2 mounts.

    Congrats, you deserve it, and so did the coyote!
