    AR 15 Gas Block ?

I am starting to work on a upper for the AR 15 in 300 BlackOut

One thing I would like is a Gas Block that I can change the amount of gas sent to the bolt

Sort of some set up like I have on the FN FAL

As I like not chasing brass when plinking

Or (I Hope )when I am using a Suppressor

I know there are some out there
I am just looking to do this 1 time
So I would like to get a good set up the first time

    Thanks
    John

Carbine or Pistol length gas system. Pistol will run both sub and super - usually.

all above good info. the shorter gas systems usually don't need any tweaking. the problem with adj gas blocks is access. if you don't use a shorty handgaurd you can't usually get to the adjust screws. the bloackout with the shorter systems are pretty reliable as is.

    Thanks for the ideas
I put on on the "Varmit" 223 Ar I built
I have to use a long Allen Wrench to ajust that one

But I have no clue who made that one , as I got it from a guy in a unmarked plastic bag
Oh he couldn't use it so he almost gave it to me , just to get out of his house
As his wife was on the war path about his "Projects"

    Thanks

Mauser48 nailed it. I'm using this one regularly. Adjustable, detents that hold the screw in place, and relatively reasonably priced. No need to look further.

300 BLK really needs a pistol length gas system to work at its best. Adjustability with the above has block helps with the subs.

300 BLK really shines as a SBR with suppressor.

That looks like the one I will order
I like that it is SS not AL ...as long term I feel the Al gas blocks erode from the gas
How much , probely not much , but as I said
I plan on doing this 1 time and the correct way , as to not spend $$ to do it a 2 time

Also if ...no when I get a suppressor , I will much of the time have the gas block closed
That way I can enjoy the lower noise and not chase brass
