Anybody make a .223 Rem mold?

Is there anybody making or using a .223 plain base round nosed 55gr-ish boolit mold for use in an AR-15? Thinkin about powder coating and using non-gas checked in the AR.
    Crazy idea or what?

Excellent! Thanks fellas. I will look into those choices. I didn't see any 22 molds on Lee charts or Lyman or anybody's really.

I've got this mold, haven't tried powder coating them yet as we only have 1 upper in the family in 5.56/223 and we haven't shot it in years. As I recall it fed well and shot great using standard lube. I would certainly powder coat it and shoot it if I needed 5.56 ammo.

You're welcome, let us know how it works for you, I wish I could help more, I only have loads for PC 55 gr .224
(note: only mag I had handy for pic, I do not bring my .223 to the same range session as my .300 Whisper/7.62x35 and I always check my mags before use with proper weapon)

They work well, no GC, not super high velocity or accuracy though, I have high hopes for your project and wish you luck!
