    I usually scour ebay until I find some at a good price with free shipping. It is amazing the difference in prices charged.

    Do a web search for them, then check prices on the most likely suppliers. Brownells is still under $30.00 on them right now. Amazing!

    Is the Elite tactical equivalent to the 47D. I'm new to this. Just got a 1911 about 2 weeks ago.

    I am quite new to the 1911 myself. I bought a Ruger Sr1911 a year or so ago. I've put a little over 1000 rounds through it. I was quite frustrated at first because of problems with it feeding. I bought a few #500 Elite tacticals from Wilson combat and all my problems went away.

    Etm is slightly extended to accommodate 8rds reliably instead oh shoving 8 in a 7rd mag body. I prefer the ETM.
