Midway USA got in a new batch and it went to backordered orders. It's in the pipeline. I still wish Starline would make it! I keep trying to encourage them to start production. If enough people contact them they may decide it will be profitable. Bob

I hope Starline makes 444 Marlin soon, too.

I don't even own a 357 maximum but I use the brass as practice points for archery. They are longer and stronger than 357 magnum brass. It also gives you more room to weigh down the tip with lead shot so that it matches your broadheads. I shoot 23/64 wood arrows.

http://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/...oductId/20448t looks like Grafts has some Jamison Brass available. I have never used any from Jamison so I don't know if they are as good as Starline.

I bought 500 Starline 357 max cases years ago, still got 450 left. No they are not for sale. Bought them to use for 7mm supermag, big failure, junk caliber. I recently had another idea for them, Thought it was a new idea but it ain't, still going to give it a shot. The 7mm sm barrel will be sacrificed for a stub for this project. If they become available again I will buy 500 more.

i been thinking, have you tried 223 brass cut off at the shoulder? way easier to find than 357 Max.

The 357 is a rimmed case so I don't think the 223 would work very well as it is a rimless design.

It worth a shot!

Garandsrus and Grendl, I feel like we are in a secret club now lol... I have been looking for that brass for a long, long, long time and it eluded me until now! 300 pcs will last me a good bit! Now I just need some 25-35 and I can relax.
