    Contender barrel stub kit

Has anyone had any experience with the Eagle View Arms stub kits?

Placed an order for one a year ago. Got an email saying husband was going in for gallbladder surgery and it would be 6 weeks or so before shipment. Sent several emails after about 12 weeks. Not a single answer. Good luck.

I got one of each - contender and Encore. Haven't used them yet, but quality seemed good. FWIW contender barrels (make stubs from them) are sometimes cheaper than these kits are at circa $100. At least in the contender, I'd only make barrels for small diameter cases due to the lack of diameter of the contender stubs.
We need somebody/something to keep the government (cops and bureaucrats too) HONEST (by non government oversight).

Every "freedom" (latitude) given to government is a loophole in the rule of law. Every loophole in the rule of law is another hole in our freedom. When they even obey the law that is. Too often government seems to feel itself above the law.

We forgot to take out the trash in 2012, but 2016 was a charm! YESSS!

From what I have read the new kits are threaded 11/16-24 tpi as opposed to 5/8-24 tpi. A little more mead on the bone!

I have two and they worked as advertised. I am very happy with them.
