Whats in the box???
Happy dance happy dance its a brass .43244-LRN-FP for my Henry
Ah a thing of beauty
warming her up(careful no more than 300 degrees)
gotta have flat bases
They are dropping right at 240-241 grs, with 12BHN alloy, and at .434, then I'm sizing them down to .432 for my Henry .44 should be nice and clean running at 1400 fps. I do think I need to polish my .432 sizer, its leaving lines on the bullets. Check out my multicolor lube,I'm switching from Thompson Blue angel back to Red Rooster, I need to use up the last of the Red Rooster since its not being make anymore. This one is the 2.9 inch blocks with just 3 cavs instead of 4, with handles it tips the scales at nearly 3lbs. Once heated it cast great, bullets drop with no more than a bump on the hand. I'm very pleased with Tom's work, the spure plate is impressive piece of thick steel as are the beveled blocks and nice face milling on the block faces provides plenty of venting. The heavy and thick sprue plate will help to make sure you get good base fill, by keeping heat in the top of mold, also the chamfer around the alignment pins look great, also the sprue plate attachment screws and springs would great as well. Excellent value at $140, also all three driving bands after sizing mic at .432 just what I was looking for.
