Now to build a mini mag. that holds say 4-5 rounds! Great project pistol.

Hey, they're tough...I bet it still works....Goo promo for Glock....I've seen them drug down the road behind a vehicle....
Experience is the source of all knowledge.
Might not be a good idea to let dogs play with guns.... my experience has been that they don't aim well.... it could get ugly...

You should probably fine a better storage location for your plastic guns

I've heard of the right to arm bears, but not dogs.

That dog is obviously bored silly . . . . you need to take him for longer walks!
On the serious side . . . if the dog can get to it . . . so can a kid. A good lesson to all (and I'm including myself in this even though I don't have kids - I do have a fierce 10 pound poodle though) to know where you handgun is at all times and make sure it is "un-acessable to others".
Wonder if that will be covered under Glock's warranty?![]()
That was my first thought too. This was just a picture that a friend of mine sent me on FB. But I'd like to know if the gun was still functional after the dog enjoyed it.
On a side-note, I always know where all my guns are at all times... But, the human brain is prone to failing from time to time, it's probably a good idea to make a conscious effort think about where your firearms are located a couple of times a day. The gun in the picture is a victim of complacency.
Good dog, found a good use for a Glock.
Just goes to prove, dogs will eat anything.
Another argument in favor of 1911's.
I have to get one for my dog! I wonder what caliber he prefers.
I had a dog chew a set of original S&W M1917 grips....just the grips. I had removed them and rubbed blo on the grips. Must've tasted good I guess?
You think he's got problems now? Wait till the wife finds out.
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Laugh if you will, but when my lab was young (notorious chewers) she chewed up and empty glock 20 mag that I left on the bed. Actually managed to put it back together and it worked just fine, but never quite looked the same.
Gotta love those labs:

My wife and I have been married 42 years - we don't have children. During our marriage, we have had a total of 9 dogs - everything from a Basset to a Lab to Cairn Terriers to Poodles and mongrels. I don't think we have ever had a dog that has not destroyed at least one thing and it usually only happened once. One chewed on the corner of a book, one on a table leg, one on a rug, etc. and the Lab even chewed up a 4 foot X 1" nylon leash - in about 5 minute time span that we left he alone. I dosed her with hydrogen peroxide and finally she threw it up - it was in lengths of about 1 1/2" - all four feet of it! Dogs are great - they've been like our "kids" - but they do get bored or at some point, especially when puppies - get a sense of insecurity if left and as a result, "things" happen. But I wouldn't have traded any of ours for anything.
They are like kids so you sort of have to "child proof" things. I chuckles when I read the post about the "reason for a 1911". May not of damaged the pistol but I bet a dog could make fast work of a set of custom grips on one!
Paul105 - nice looking Lab! They certainly are a beautiful dog and devoted as heck. I took in a Lab/Shepherd rescue - looked more like a black Lab. She was a great dog and great company - I was crushed when I had to have her put down bur she had a rare cancer and "it was time" - still miss her greatly. I wasn't going to replace her but ended up taking in a little 10 pound "rescue" Poodle that had been abused. She's smart as a whip and has a neat personality. If I'm sitting down, she's in my lap. Hard to loose 'em . . . but there are always others out there that need a good loving home.
Smart dog. he knows food is stored in Tupperware containers.
The man who invented the plow was not bored. He was hungry.
