Just loaded up 12 of these. My first time with a 180 gr. Used 2400, hopping they shoot out of my 1894 357.

Thats similar to my sidearm load for hog hunting. I use a boolit from NOE 360-180 WFN and some H110.

There have been several permutations of that 180 grain design offered as group buys here. All have done very well in the 1894C. With the Glen Larson design Lee group buy, I use 12.5 grains of 2400 for 1,544 fps average or 14.5 grains of Lil' Gun for 1,732 fps average.

I loaded 12 gr. of 2400 for the 357. Has anyone tried this boolit in a 35 Remington?

Yes. It won't chamber in the .35 Remington Marlin due to the full size shoulder in front of the case.

ETA, 12 grains of 2400 is good for 1,489 fps with a 10 fps SD in my rifle. The 12.5 grain load is a little more accurate though.

I have the Noe 360-180wfn mold and use 14.5 gr Lilgun. Very accurate in my Marlin 1894cs.

I have some Lilgun, might give it a try. Been cold here. We bury our water pipes 8 feet under ground and several people have had their lines freeze from the main to the house. So not much shootin going on right now.

Would anyone who shoots the NOE plain base version of this care to comment?

I shoot the pb NOE in my Uberti P. with a 4.75 inch barrel. 5.5gr's of Herco gives me close to 875 fps and very good accuracy.

Lefty, What alloy are you using and what kind of performance on the hogs? My nephew may be getting to hog hunt and I'm going to loan him my 94 Marlin with the same NOE boolit. I was thinking 16-1 or Lyman no2. 161 I will let you know how mine does I am going to start with H110 and 2400.
