Shot? You use a shotgun on deer? What size shot? Will 7 1/2 work?

Is that a pistol round that is a shortened rifle round ? Or a rifle round that is a lengthened pistol round ?

Yeah, but never listen to the guys with the funny hats. They're a bunch of elitists who try to belittle everyone. Seems they got themselves some kind of little "club".

Depends on how much he works this winter. Bret did take a break too this summer.

Tumble lube is ok on regular bullets unless they are GC shot without GC. Glocks require polygonal lube grooves.

Award or part of the avatar? The award is given by the admins, it is pretty darn rare. Might be 5 out there.

Those that are in the avatar are based on post count. A silver for 1000 and a gold for 5000. Think of the as a measure of how much time we spend here.......

    Please don't tell my wife.

As was said, Golden Boolit Awards are very limited. They are awarded in recognition of excellence in contribution to the knowledge of the cast boolit shooting world. When those guys talk, I recommend you pay attention.

We were going to give one to Lamar, but made him a staff member, instead. Staff members can't have them, and we figured he was more valuable on staff, instead of having a trophy. That is also known as screwing up in reverse.

The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
