How about some load data-30/30 with a 130gr cast boolit?

I ended up with about 300 130gr cast boolits in 30 cal...and I would like to load them for my 30/30. I can't seem to find any super reliable load data outside of about 7 or 8 grains of Unique as a starting point. I'm not against trying that, but I'd like to know if anyone has a pet load for this grain boolit.

    Suggestions?

Try 8.5 grs. of Alliant Unique.

I shoot 8.6 grs. of Alliant Unique with a 175 gr. g/c bullet in my T/C , 10" barrel 30-30 all the time.

If the bullets are plain based, I would suggest 6 grs of Unique. You may find that with higher charges some leading may occur ith plain based bullets.

The question is; PB'd or GC'd?
