    A little time with the 300 blkout

    Went out tonight with the SOTA 16 in SS. First target is the LEE 155 at 50 yards 6 shots. One flyer 1650 FPS but won't cycle.

    Next is a 3 shot group with 147 FMJ pulled bullets with 17 gr. RL7 at 1600 FPS. 100 yards.

    Not having much luck with the 125 Sierra.

    Jus remember that 3 shot groups only tell you something if they are poor. A good group can be chance.

    Try 17gr of H110 with those 147gr pulls, you'll like the results.

    Good drouping on the Lee rounds. What powder? You'll likely need H110 or slower to get it to cycle reliably.

    Never tried teh Sierra but the Nosler 125gr BT shoot good for me with 18gr of Lilgun.

    Nice shooting.

    What should a guy expect for velocity with the 155 LEE and good accuracy? ACWW.

    1850 has been about the max for me. I've driven it faster with no leading but accuracy falls off significantly.

    Harder alloy may help (less deformation)

    I hate my new Lee mold. The two alignment pins have receeded causing blocks halves not to line up. I will send this piece of **** back to them.

    IMO.................. RCBS makes the best and less troublesome molds.
