    6.8 spc cast results

    Got back to the range with the ar15.
    Here are the particulars -
    6.8 SPC
    Brass - Silver State Armory
    Bullet - 112gr bullet from Mountain Molds
    Powder - 24.5gr H322
    Primer = Rem 7 1/2
    Range - 100 yards

    The mold casts great and is exactly how I designed it. I should have put a little more thought into it. I have to resize the nose to get it to feed consistently. I also have to seat it deeper than intended. If I were to do it again, I would consider 5 or 10 grains lighter and using a truncated cone instead of a tangential ogive.
