    Mould storage preference...

Do any of you leave your handles on the moulds after you are finished casting with them?

I always do. Too lazy to remove them t the time and the mould is still hot. I don't like handling hot moulds.

I always leave mine on. Don't know why just the way I do it. I have heard some guys say that for extended storage they were afraid their handles would rust where they attach to the mold.
Boolits !!!!! Does that mean what I think it do? It do!

Every time I place an order to Midway, I put at least 1 set of Lee 6 cavity handles in the cart. I will probably never have a set for each of my 50 or so molds, but I want a set for all my favorite ones anyway.

Yup. Leave them on, too hot to fool with.

I do one on the ones I use most. I usually take them off of the ones I just use a few times per year.

I find my 6 cavity LEE handle's don't fit in 50 cal can's so I take them off.
I put VCI in with them as well as silica gel

I only cast with one mold at a time. I always take the handles off after the mold cools. It takes up less storage room that way.

Yep. Part of my prep time while the pot is heating is moving handles to the molds I will use if they do not now have them on.

I always figured I was just too cheap to buy a dozen or two sets of handles...

I only have 2 sets of Lee handles. I just leave them on the mould when I am done casting. Ext time I cast I decide what mould I am using and move the handles while the pot is heating. I have plenty of time while it heats.
I may get a third set of handles but rarely do I even use 2 moulds during a casting session, three would be almost produce question.

Handles on, plastic storage box with rust chips in it. Each mold is stuck in a sock or sweatshirt sleeve to prevent banging together.

I leave mine on. Aluminum doesnt rust so why bother ?
If enough pressure is applied, it'll go
