    Hodgdon 380 loading data

    Howdy ya'll

Been a while since I loaded any 380 rds and couldn't find my info I had for using Titegroup. So I looked it up at the Hodgdon website and printed it off.
It said start at 2.6 and don't exceed 3.0. Then I happened across a thread I started over a year ago the info I posted on here then said they had you starting with 4.7 and not to exceed 5.0. Someone even posted they were loading like 4.2 of titegroup in theirs.
I looked at the other rounds I load using titegroup and they haven't changed so it got me to wondering if they just did it on the 380's or have I completely flipped out since last year?

I use 3gr. for the 380 and 4.2 for the 9mm, I wouldn't want to go any higher in the 380.

I have the 2009 annual manual and the higher loads you mention are not in there. I suggest someone got their wires crossed.

I suspect that somebody's eyes drifted from the .380 data to the 9mm Para data.

That's one reason guns perform spontaneous omnidirectional disassembly.
