Your 500s are beauties indeed Lloyd ! Wonder how much interest there'd be for a group buy mould dropping 0.513"GC bullets? Here's mine in same caliber:

The leathersmith is Rob Leahy of Simply Rugged (http://www.simplyrugged.com). Great quality and his prices are very reasonable. I recommend him highly.

MDF99 where did you get your leather goodies at? oops- saw the link now.
Very nice looking everything. A gun like that would almost make me want to trade in my 44 Automag.

    475 Mould

    45 2.1 - Seeing as I now have a 475 BFR I really want to know - who makes that 475 mold?

I bought the Lee 400 grain and I purchased some 400 gr (PB and GC) from Daniel at The Bull Shop.

Don't like the Lee - too big .478+ and lube grooves too small, almost loose the lub grooves when you run them in a Lyman sizer/luber. Haven't shot any of them yet.

Drew....Hand lube your bullets before you run them through the Lyman sizer and see if that helps....I have good luck pre-lubing .377 to .385 dia boolits and sizing them down to .368 in one of BuckShots push thru sizers......

Thanks for the reply Nrut - I orignally bought the Lee as an interium mould until I find out about the LBT's WFN I got from BS (GC and PB).

As of right now I know that the 400gr GC that Daniel sells shoots great. I haven't gone to the top end of it yet and getting 3 and 4 shot clover leafs at 30 yrds. If I could see the light on both sides of the front sight in the rear sight, there would be one ragged hole - Darn these old eyes. I will be ording an LBT, just don't know yet it I want the GC or PB (might get a 4 cavity with 2 of each!). I will put some of the PB out of it next weekend to see how they work.

I don't know how much I am going to use the Lee mould. I have about 300 of them cast, just looking for a way to get enough lube on them to shoot them. Worse case - they go back in the pot and I will give that ould away for shipping!
