Here is my latest garage sale find. Nineteen pounds of lead, a Lee melter, a mold for snagging treble hooks, a Do-It jig mold, a Palmer split-shot mold, for $20. The lead is soft lead, according to the former owner, who knows for sure ? It is definitely worth getting up early on Saturday mornings and making the rounds.

I use pure lead for split shot sinker's.
I use zinc for everything else.
