Botach tactical has .22lr conversion kits (cmmg) for $120 or $130 if I remember right, with one 25rd mag.

Just thought Id throw that out there for the betterment of the group.

I have heard that the QC for cmmg 22lr uppers is not really great.

    Anybody using one?

I have the CMMG 22lr conversion. Attempted to use it a few times for practice, very dissatisfied. Ended up purchasing a S&W MP22 and 3 spare 25 round mags for $350-375. Salt in the wound, I paid around $200-215 from Brownells for the conversion a year or so ago.

Thanks! It is equally as important to know what is NOT functional as what is. I keep thinking Ciener, but this will be a lot less hassle.

Now if I could just get this Advantage Arms Glock conversion to work. Needs premium ammo to function somewhat reliably, still has more than a few Failure to fire and failure to extract. Premium 22lr ammo vs. 9mm cast bullet handloads hardly seems worth it.

CCI Green tag $12-14 @100****function ****75-80% at best
    Handloads about $5-6@100****function****100%

You can see the complete ready to shoot uppers here http://shop.nordiccomp.com/NC22_c6.htm

You can order any of the ones listed and you can change the hardware around.
