Just when things were looking up...

...and I could see 25% of the grass in the yard under the 60" of snow we got this winter, March has decided to gift us with a winter storm warning and 6-10" of snow by noon tomorrow. And I was just trying to figure out when the weather would get nice enough to smelt...on the bright side, I had my tires rotated today and got 50 lbs. of WWs from the shop. I figure I have about 700 lbs. of WWs to turn into beautiful ingots as soon as this weather shapes up and I have a spare day or two...

My daughter is 8, last year she really got me cracking up. It got quite warm for a couple days, around 70, then it snowed. She tells me, "the spring is broken". It was so cute.

32 F here and light snow. Out at the kids place - 1100 feet higher in elevation and 8 miles away- it was 25F and they got 8" of snow today. The snowbanks are 7' high on both sides of their driveway.
We've got another month before we see grass and in some places the snow will linger in the shade until late May.

Same thing here in Maine, We had a day or two in the very high 40's.
Got a little look at some dirt and then more snow and cold nasty wind.
Will be a while before it's all gone, we will get some nice weather in April but the snow wont be gone till mid may ( in the shade ) %$#@& **%$#@ ^%$#@^%
On the bright side one day it was 50* and I did get to cast a little--just moved the snow around a little.

Last Wednesday it was 65* Monday morning I left the house in a foot of snow. Drove home with the A/C cycling warm/cool/warm/cool yesterday. Expecting snow, rain, wind, sunshine, and 65* for the weekend.

I don't mind the heat or the cold, but this going to work in 25*s and snow and coming home with windows down and/or A/C has got to go.

My parent live 1 hr North of Duluth on the Iron Range. I feel bad for them having all the snow you've been nailed with. I am continually reminded that winter is a little too long in Northern MN!

I'm blessed with four seasons here in Oregon: Rain, Snow, Fog and summer.

We had a cold, widy storm go through here Monday. Rain, with temps in the 50s. We may get yet another before the middle of April. Here's a shot of the results of a March storm we had about 6 years ago, and NO, it's not a Photoshop job. The mountains are the Superstitions, just east of Mesa, AZ (think Lost Dutchman's Gold).

We got your Minnesota leftovers of snow here in WI last night and still today... I, too, had most of my lawn snow-free til then! Wet as heck too, like you said, yuck!

Blizzard started here Monday nite stormed all day Tuesday and finally let up this morning (Wed). Started calving same time as the storm hit, three calves out, one's in the barn doing OK, another's in the seat of my idling pickup warming up with the heater on. Third one was dead when I found him.

Record snowfall this winter in northeast Montana, we really didn't need more.

Cows are the most cussed things, they always seem to calf at the worst possible time. It's amazing any are left alive.
