Hey all

Anyone put a peep sight on an old RB? The old battle sights are pretty terrible. I looked at the Marble Tang Sight I have on my Marlin 45/70 but it would be way to short on the RB..

I did a Google search for RB and peep sight and didnt come up with much..

Just depends on how much you want to spend. Marbles makes an interchangeable staff sight for the roller.
Another cheaper option is Track of the Wolf has a vernier style that will work OK for hunting and plinking but definitely not suitable for long range shooting.

Yes, I've seen some sights that cost more than the gun did! Didnt even think of TOW and I order stuff from them all the time..

The inexpensive tang sight that came on the Pedersoli rolling Blocks works ok, but difficult to adjust frequently for different ranges.

Much better for shooting than the battle sights.. The old girl shoots pretty decent! The bonus is fogging up the other shooters down wind
