    Rcbs is number 1

    I have an Rcbs 505 scale and i needed a new powder pan. The lip of the pan had been broken off by someone that had been in my gun room.I called Rcbs and told them what had happened and i asked the customer rep, how much would a new one run me. The customer rep said," what if i just send you one". I was not calling for what i call a freebee. ( I called about the pan Tuesday late and the pan was at my door today, Friday Am). Rcbs is number 1.

    Not to knock RCBS at all, I own many of their products and really like what I own, but remember that when you purchase their product you are also paying for the unlimited warrenty that they offer. You are not getting a Freebee, that was calculated into the initial price.

    I have also gotten the same resultes from Lee, but never from Lyman.
