    Colt Lightning pumpgun

A relative brought into my shop today a real primo 'Colt Lightning pumpgun in 32WCF. It had generations of crud inside and out. It took me about half a day to get it apart, cleaned and back together again. I did a complete disassembly and the online owners manual for the USFA version was very helpful. I never took one of these down before and it was a nice learning experience.

It is a 100% factory original with strong blue and stock varnish. I thought you might enjoy a look so here are a couple of pics.

    Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People sometimes tell me they dont own guns because guns are too expensive. I tell them guns dont cost anything. They are essentially another form of currency.

    Smile

Oh WOW!! I once had a chance to buy one just like that one, well, not nearly that NICE, but fully functional and good shooting condition.

The age old problem, beautiful rifle, great price, but no dinero in my kick. Had to pass on it.

Tell your relative to really enjoy that, I sure would!

Thanks for the wonderful eye candy!!
    Regards,

I would love to have one of those. Beautiful wood. I really like the 32 WCF.

Sweet! Love the wood on that beauty.

And folks wonder why I love "Old West" style guns so much.

Love the color of the old Winchester stocks.
